Patsy Jean Huie

Patsy Jean Huie of Salem, Oregon passed away on April 12, 2025 surrounded by her family. Patsy was born on June 24th, 1933 to Floyd and Zelva Pope in Amarillo, Texas.

In June, 1949 Patsy married Charlie Huie, they were married for 39 years and had 3 children: Cherry, Terry and Rebecca. Later, she was married to James Huie who provided companionship in her later years.

In 1977 Patsy graduated with an Associates degree in nursing and went on to a long career of helping others including 18 years at Fairview Training Center.

In 1996 patsy retired and spent her time doing what she loved most, camping, reading the Bible, and spending time with her family.

Patsy was predeceased by her parents, Floyd and Zelva, one brother, two sisters and her husbands Charlie Huie and James Huie. She is survived by her brother Bob Pope and her children Cherry Harrison, Terry Huie, and Rebecca McMillian. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
