Pamela Jean (Kozisek) Cummins

On September 3, 2026 we lost our beloved Pamela after a long and courageous battle with complicated illnesses.  She was the loving wife of Art Cummins; cherished mother of Aaron Cummins (Lissi); stepson Andy Cummins, Stepdaughter Kelly Holmes (Ivan); step grandmother to Kassi McKay (Michael) and Drew Cummins (Yvonne).  Her mother and father were James and Phyllis Kozisek of Independence, Oregon (deceased). She is survived by her brother, Michael Kozisek (Sue) of Independence, niece Krista Tracy (Chad), nephew Mikey Kozisek (Jennifer) and several cousins.

Pamela graduated from Central high School in Independence and Merritt Davis Business School.  She lived most of her adult life in Salem, Oregon.  She was an  accomplished legal secretary, employed by several Salem law firms including her husband's for over 20 years.

Pamela was passionate about hot air balloons, penguins, holidays, Tom Selleck (Magnum PI & Blue Bloods), artwork by Thomas Kincade, Ducks football, her "New Ladies" group at the fountains at Hidden Lakes (Ursula, Dee, Nancy, and Marlene), skiing, snowmobiling, pizza, pecan pie, and playing the slots.  Pamela will be remember and celebrated on Saturday October 17, 2026 at the Salem American Legion Post 136 at 4774 Lilac Lane NE from 11:00 AM to 4:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations to American Legion Salem Post 136 are suggested and are tax deductible.
