Michael Allen Jones

Michael Allen Jones, 37, of Salem, Oregon, was a deeply loved father, son, brother, and United States Marine. He will be remembered for his intelligence, sense of humor, and the love he gave so freely to his family, children, and friends.

Michael passed away on March 27, 2026, at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon.

Michael proudly served his country as a Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corps as part of 1/5 Weapons Company. During his military service, he completed three deployments, including a combat deployment to Afghanistan in 2009. He was honorably discharged in 2013.

Michael leaves behind two sons and two daughters; two sisters; one brother; several step-siblings; his mother, father, and stepfather; his grandmother, grandfather, and step-grandmother; and 13 nieces and nephews, all of whom loved him dearly.

Michael had a deep love for and faith in his Heavenly Father. He loved the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior, and that faith was an important part of his life.

His final resting place will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.

Michael was deeply loved and will be dearly missed. Though he is no longer with us, he will remain forever in our hearts.
