Marguerita Montoya

Marguerita “Margie” Montoya went home to be with our Lord and Savior on March 14, 2026. Margie was born at 2:00 am on April 2, 1941, to Guadalupe and Kelly Castillo. She was the 7th child in her family. In total there were 5 girls and 5 boys. Margie is preceded in death by her mother Guadalupe, father Kelly, her brothers Kelly, Albert, Johnny, and Fred and her sisters Angie and Mary. She is survived by her sisters Lucy and Pauline and brother Frank. The love of her life and husband of 60 years, Ben. Her children Kenneth (Sandra), Brian (Lisa), and Kimberly; grandchildren John, Julia, Morgan (Jacob), Christopher,  Gabriel (Esmeralda), Isabel and Joshua; and great-grandchild, Greyson.

Margie was very talented and could do most anything she put her mind to. She was great at cooking, sewing, carpentry, decorating and organizing.

Margie gave her life to Jesus at the age of 19. She loved Jesus with all her heart and being. She belived nothing could compare to his mercy and love. Margie loved her grandchildren deeply. They were all so important to her. She prayed daily for her entire family and that they would love the Lord as their personal Saviour. Margie wanted her children and grandchildren to use the gifts they were blessed with and allow the Lord to use them for His glory.

Margie had stated that through the churches she and her husband pastored she met many beautiful Godly people that helped mold her Christian walk. She took the best from each one to use in God’s work. Margie loved life, the Lord, and her family. Her family will miss her laughter, singing, and her hugs.
