Lyn Marie Gaylord

Lyn Marie Miller Gaylord, 74, passed away peacefully at her residence in Salem, Oregon, on June 23, 2026.

Born on October 16, 1951, Lyn lived a life filled with creativity, kindness, and love for her family. She had a gentle heart, a warm spirit, and a remarkable artistic talent that touched the lives of those who knew her. She will be remembered not only for her creativity, but also for the love and encouragement she shared so freely with those around her.

Honoring her wishes, Lyn will be cremated, and her ashes will be placed alongside those of her beloved parents and brother on the Oregon coast. She will also be reunited with her cherished dog, Shep, who brought her so much companionship and joy.

Lyn was preceded in death by her mother, Dolores Ardell Miller; her father, Virgil Wayne Miller; and her brother, Wayne Scott Miller.

She is lovingly survived by her sisters, Tawnda Louise Bromley and Lori J. Salmonsen; her stepson Tony Gaylord, along with extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.

Lyn’s kindness, artistic gifts, and enduring love for her family will remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy lives on through the memories she created and the lives she touched.
