Leah Margaux Downing, beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on April 25, 2025, at the age of 49.
Born on September 7, 1975, in Fort Lewis, Washington, Leah was the daughter of Suzanne Marie (née Kerns) and William (Bill) Edward Fulsos. From an early age, Leah demonstrated strength, resilience, and a fierce love for her family—qualities that she carried with her throughout her life.
Leah was a creative soul, with an innate artistic talent that shone through in everything she did. Whether it was through painting, crafting, or simply finding beauty in the world around her, she had a unique ability to turn the ordinary into something extraordinary. Her creativity was matched only by her sense of humor. Leah’s quick wit and infectious laughter could light up a room, and she had a rare gift for making people smile, even in the most difficult of times.
In 1999, Leah proudly earned her GED from Chemeketa Community College in Salem, Oregon.
She is survived by her three loving children: Jasmine Goodman (Marcos), Brandon Foster, and Jason Hall; her cherished grandson, Amias Goodman and her Parents, Suzanne and William (Bill) Fulsos. Leah’s warmth, humor, creativity, and generous spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. Her legacy will continue to inspire and uplift those fortunate enough to have called her family or friend.
Leah’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
