Lawrence Thomas Kniskern

Larry Kniskern, born Lawrence Thomas Kniskern on April 21, 1939 to Alice and Leon Kniskern in New York, passed on February 25, 2026 at age 86.

Larry is survived by his wife Lilly Beth Kniskern, daughter Robin Tague and son Craig Kniskern as well as siblings Shirley Kniskern-Wilson and Beverly Powers, daughter in law Jacci Kniskern and step daughter Kathryn Susbauer.

Larry was preceded in death by brothers Leon and Clifford Kniskern and sister Elva Fagan and sons James and Tobin Kniskern.

Larry has 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Larry’s first wife Carol (Mother of his children ) passed in October of 2004.

Larry joined the army after Highschool ( class of 1957 ) and served in Korea as a communications specialist. He later transferred to the Air Force.

Back in Oregon, Larry worked for the school districts as a communications and maintenance technician.

Larry had a heart of Gold. He would help anyone with anything. He did not know the word “no”.

Larry will be missed by all who knew him, especially by his daughter Robin.
