Jude Andrew Weisner

Jude Weisner was born on August 4, 2011. He passed away on July 4, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Jude began his educational career at Liberty Elementary School, attending from kindergarten through second grade. Jude’s family moved to Dallas where he attended Oakdale Heights Elementary School for his third-grade year. The family then moved back to Salem where Jude finished his elementary school years at Miller Elementary before moving on to Houck Middle School.

Jude has a heart of gold, as can be testified to by teachers, doctors, nurses, and anyone who knew him. He cared greatly for others feeling, and always was so polite and appreciative of their efforts. After his last round of chemo, even though the treatments were ineffective, he thanked all the doctors and nurses for trying. What 13 year-old does that??? Well, that’s Jude.

Jude’s passions in life were camping with his family, playing football, hiking, snowboarding, video games, and helping in the kitchen with the cooking. He was always appreciative of the opportunities given to him in his life and he was an inspiration to all who knew him. That is the kind of legacy we all hope for. Jude was certainly able to attain his.

Jude is survived by his father Mark Weisner, his mother Vanessa Weisner, his brother Logan Weisner, and his sisters Marie Weisner and Cecilia Weisner.
