Jacob Aram Zellner

July 1, 1978 — April 3, 2026

Gervais

Jacob Zellner was a fun, youthful, and deeply passionate man. He had a love for collecting vintage toys from his childhood, and you could often find him thrifting or out picking with Tiny (his nephew). He had a strong connection to the outdoors and especially loved summertime in Oregon, where he spent most weekends off the grid, camping.

Jacob loved hiking, floating the river, swimming with his niece Linora, and just being outside. Some of his best times were spent hanging out with his best friends, Max and Tracy.

He loved documentaries and was truly the king of random facts. It was so normal for Jacob to call and start a conversation with, “Hey, did you know…” and then go on for 15–30 minutes about something new he had learned.

Jacob had a very special connection with kids, especially those with autism. He had a unique ability to communicate with autistic children in a way that I have never seen before.

He shared an especially close bond with his niece Linora, whom he helped raise alongside her parents during the first five years of her life. He played a huge and meaningful role in shaping her early childhood.

He was also a father figure and the best uncle to his nephews, Legend and Legacy, who he spent most of his days with over the past few years.

Jacob is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Joann Cook and Duveen Humbert, grandfathers, Donald Lynn Zellner Sr. and George Cook.

He leaves behind his father, Donald Lynn Zellner Jr.; mother, Linda Zellner; sister, Stephanie Jones; his brother-in-law, Darnell Jones; niece, Linora Jones; nephews, Legend and Legacy “Tiny” Cardenas; favorite cousin, Wendy Kneski; grandfather, Glen Humbert; many aunts and uncles; and his best friends, Pernell “Max” Maxwell Jr. and Tracy Allstott-Maxwell
