Helen Mae Hankins

Helen Mae Hankins, loving mother, sister and grandmother, passed away on March 8, 2017, at the age of 89 in Salem.

Helen was born in Kansas. She was a graduate of Albany High School and received an associate’s degree in 1975 from Linn Benton Community College.

She worked many years as a senior’s dial-a-bus driver in Lebanon. She was a member of the Lebanon American Legion and the Rebekah Lodge.

She is survived by daughters Marge Clark (Bobby Clark), Heidi Streifling, Marla James and Sabrina Simonson; sons Gaylon Johnston (Clarissa Johnston) and Jason Simonson; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Mary Agosto; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life and interment will take place Friday, March 17, 2017. Interment will be at Willamette Memorial Park.
