Son of William and Mary Parsons

Preceded in death by his loving wife, Zelda Parsons whom he loved dearly and his daughter Leah Russell.

Survived by his two daughters, Joy Tisher and Diane Cagle and his son Randy Parsons. Frank also had 11 grandchildren, over 20 great grandchildren and even one great-great grandchild!

Frank was born in Moundsville West Virginia. He grew up in southern California and as a youth became very self sufficient and was an active and successful athlete, an especially fast runner. He graduated from Chaffey High School in Ontario CA in 1953. He then worked and went to college before joining the Air Force in 1956. He was assigned to Labrador for over a year.

A veteran of the USAF from 1956-1960. His career life included work at NASA, coal mines, steel mills, mechanic, and journeyman electrician and millwright. He retired from Boise Cascade in Salem Oregon after 25 years of service. Frank was able to fix anything.

He loved fishing and working on his various boats, loved being on the water, camping, collecting antiques, and remodeling several homes. In his early days he loved flying airplanes and driving fast cars.

He was well loved by his family and friends and had developed many meaningful friendships with those at the local dog park which he frequently visited with his dogs. He loved dogs and always had a special one at his side.

Frank was known for his generosity, kind heartedness, love for others and also, his feisty side!
