Erik Mirl Christensen

Erik Christensen, 57, died Wednesday, March 19th , 2025 at home unexpectedly due to heart complications. Erik was born September 6th, 1967 in Albany, Oregon to Rosemary Smithson and Stephen Christensen. He later married Angela Luyet on September 15th,1994, they had been married 30 years. Erik had three children Bryant, Savannah and Rachelle. Followed by two grandchildren, Braxton and Cassidy. If you asked Erik what his greatest accomplishments were, it would be his kids and grandkids. He was his kids biggest supporter and never missed a game or recital. He spent all of his free time with them. When he wasn't with family he worked as a drywall finisher for nearly 30 years. If you asked he would tell you just how good he was at it. Everyone who knew him knew what it was to truly laugh. He was always unapologetically himself and never afraid to stand up for what he believed in. He was goofy, kind, hardworking, competitive, and incredibly smart. Erik will be missed by all those who knew him. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. We are grateful for the time that we had, and how many lives he touched before he was taken too soon.
