In Loving Memory of Debora (Debbie) Lori Spenst Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Caregiver December 25th 1956 - August 13th 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Debbie Spenst, who departed this world peacefully on August 13th, after an arduous battle with dementia. She was 68 years old.

Debbie was a devoted mother to four children, whose lives she filled with love, kindness, and unwavering support. Her nurturing spirit extended far beyond her own family, dedicating much of her life to a long and fulfilling career as a childcare provider. Over the years, she touched the lives of countless children and families with her warm heart, gentle wisdom, and boundless patience.

Debbie had a gift for making people feel seen and loved. Her home was a place of comfort and laughter, and she approached every day with resilience, kindness, and a deep faith in the goodness of others.

She will be remembered for her infectious smile, her loving hands, and the way she gave her all—both in her work and in her love for her family. Though dementia gradually took her memories, it never dimmed her spirit or the deep love she held for those around her.

Debbie is survived by her husband: John Spenst, her four children: Zeke Spenst, Tristan Spenst, Jason Kamna, and Lorrie Booth, her five grandchildren, and a wide circle of family, friends, and former daycare families who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
