Cynthia Ann Duley (Cindy), age 80, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2026 in the Salem Hospital in Oregon. She was born on September 25, 1945 in Portland, Maine to the late Paul R. and Mary M. Duley. Cindy is survived by her siblings, Paul (Sharon) Duley, James (Andrea) Duley, John (Donna) Duley and Gayle (Edwin) Len. Cindy grew up in a military family traveling extensively throughout the United State in her youth to include Alaska before it was a State. Upon her graduation from high school in Maine, she joined the United State Army during the Vietnam War. Cindy was stationed in Okinawa during her deployment while her two brothers fought in the jungles of Vietnam. Cindy returned to the United States and moved to California where she resided for many years alongside her mother and father as well as her siblings. She eventually moved to Los Angeles to experienced yet another adventure in her life. After her retirement, Cindy moved to Salem, Oregon to be closer to her sister. Cindy loved her privacy and travelling to the various outdoors sites and national parks. She loved her cats. Cindy shall be missed by all who have crossed paths with her during her life. She will be buried at the Golden Gate & San Francisco National Cemeteries with full military honors where she will rest for eternity alongside her mother and father. It is there she will once again walk with her parents and catch up on all the conversations they have missed for all too long.
