Carol Jean Sellers

Carol Jean Sellers was born in 1954 in rural Southern California to William and Lorraine Haithcoat. She was raised in the Southern California area with her younger brother Dale. Carol joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints as a teenager and years later in 1974 married her husband Wayne Sellers in the Los Angeles Temple. They would later move to Oregon to start and raise their family. 

Carol worked as a bookkeeper in the Nursing Home/ Senior Living industry for 40 years and was loved by those she worked with. Carol was passionate about quilting, sewing and spending time with her girlfriends and adventures with her family. 

Carol passed away in her home the evening of January 27, 2026 at 71 from natural causes in her husband’s arms. Carol is survived by her husband of 51 years Wayne, her two sons Bruce and Patrick, her two daughter-in-laws, Erin and Jessica, two granddaughters and five grandsons all of whom she loved and adored. A Memorial Service will be held in her honor Saturday February 7th 10am at the LDS church in Turner - 3645 Cloverdale Drive SE Turner, Oregon, 97392
