Brandon Michael Kurzenberger

Brandon Michael Kurzenberger died February 6th, 2026 at the age of 44. He was born Super Bowl Sunday January 24, 1982 in Portland, Oregon and graduated from West Linn High School in 2000 and University of Oregon in 2006.

Brandon's early years were full of adventure and he lived with an energy few could keep up with. He loved snowboarding, philosophy, music, and keeping up on sports stats. He fit in many travels over the years, hiking to the top of Half Dome, attending his sister's wedding in Thailand, watching the sunrise at Haleakala, cruising to Mexico, and many other memorable moments.

Brandon was a survivor. He survived two major traumatic head injuries. He lived the last years of his life in his home in Salem, OR and those years were made better by his loving family and the caring staff at IS Living.

He is survived by his parents Carl (Tom) Kurzenberger and Michele Kurzenberger, his sister Sasha Kurzenberger and her husband Ryan Hamilton, and his nieces Rowyn and Elyse Hamilton, and his sweet pup Callie.

A memorial service will be held at his home on February 28, 2026.

In honor of Brandon Kurzenberger, the family welcomes any memorial donations to two non-profits that were significant in his life: Disability Rights Oregon or the Oregon Humane Society.
